We loved it. Great food. It was super busy at the time we went. Hard to find a seat. Need more seating. But, someone helped us and they did really well with getting tables cleaned fast and seating people. Great job.

Everything was fresh. Clean restaurant. Only suggestion is to keep the soup supply up. Soup is popular and sometimes it gets down to almost nothing for a period of time

Freshest salad and soup bar in Houston! Lots of tasty soups! My favorite is the Cream of Mushroom! They also have baked sweet potatoes and potatoes with all the fixings! Their warm freshly baked Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting is to die for!

Good food, polite friendly service. Quality home made soups. Even pasta choices and fresh salad options!

Note: The entrance is in the back of the building. A giant salad bar and the specialization makes it superb. Also has a soup bar and a pasta bar.

Salad galore! Pastas and soups as well. My favorite was the mini cornbreads! There's also a dessert bar with ice cream, sprinkles, brownies, tapioca and fruit.

Fresh, delicious, did I mention delicious??!! Friendly employees, lots of options, sweet potatoes and baked potatoes are so good! Manager checked on every table and thanked everyone for their business! We will definitely be back!

Always incredible food, and quiet enough to allow for visiting with my friends or family as we eat.Do not miss the chicken noodle soup. Ever. It's made fresh every day, and it has homemade noodles and giant chunks of chicken, and it's the best chicken noodle soup I've ever tasted. My ex-husband even used to come get a pint to-go for me when I was sick.

We love this place!! Even our picky 45yr old eats well here. The food is always fresh and varied. Its a very clean and well maintained restaurant with good friendly service. I recommend signing up for their email club. We get great coupons and discounts.

Wonderful fresh salad bar, large selection of delicious soups and fresh baked breads. Pasta and baked potatoes were ok. Ice cream and dessert toppings are fun for the kids. We had a coupon and the person at the register made sure to give us the best deal for our large party of 6 adults and 6 children.

Changed the bread receipe. They no longer have hard crust bread. Lost a customer. Good fresh salad and a large selection of soup bread and food. Had to wait to be seated at capacity.

Sweet tomatoes is not for everyone. But if you want a great salad with many ways to make it to your liking and a choice of soups, some pasta and small slices of pizza. They also have a dessert for those with a sweet tooth. It's a serve yourself place with a friendly staff.

I've started eating a lot less meat and more vegetables, so this place hits the spot!Yes, the soups have a lot of salt, but I can dilute them with some water.Getting the senior discount means we don't have to scramble to find a coupon any more! We'll be back.

Pretty bad experience. The people working the salad bar when you first enter are incapable of explaining anything about the process or selections. Lady running the register was rude and rushed us through. Salad bar had pretty shoddy options and I didn't find any tomatoes. Protein is nearly impossible to find in the entire restaurant. Expect to be hungry soon after eating here. Highlights were the soups which were either too watery or too salty but were by far the tastiest options, the blue cheese dressing was pretty legit also. Worst items were the breads, the "garlic bread" tasted like unheated leftover cheese pizza. Grabbed a baked sweet potato that tasted rotten.Never coming back.

I don't normally try new restaurants out, except the tried and tested ones. Today, I went to Sweet Tomatoes assuming I won't eat much but did completely the opposite of it.The salad options are amazing.The soups and breads were too good. Surprisingly it is very cost efficient for an eat all you can place. I will definitely go back.

The salad bar does not taste like fresh produce like Jason's deli whose salads always taste clean and fresh. The salads at Sweet Tomatoe taste like it comes out of a plastic bag and dried out. They need to buy fresh produce. The other items like the bread, soup, deserts and other items in the food bar are great.

Avoid this place during peak hours. Staff scramble with cleaning, but can't keep up. First impression was good, you walk in and everything is neat and clean. However, when we got closer to the register we noticed that the silverware needed to be restocked, when we went to find a table there were 2 caution wet floor signs, crumbs all over the floor, and all tables were either occupied or needed to be bused. When we finally chose somewhere to sit, a stff member jumped on cleaning it up. Looking behind the bakery station, it was a mess. I enjoyed the pastas and muffins, but not much else. Wanted to like the tomato soup, but it was sadly not that great. You will want to inspect silverware and dishes closely before using them. If you're not that picky and enjoy a quick meal with lots of variety, you might like this place.

Always a great experience when I visit! Fresh food that is delicious! I just wish they would bring back the turkey & dressing soup! That one is so good! 😋

Great option for those trying to eat healthier and for those that enjoy buffets. They offer a large salad bar, soups, baked potatoes, fresh breads, muffins, a pasta bar, and desert bar.

Great salad, my favorite Cream of Mushroom Soup, just filled with bite after bite of mushroom.

The broccoli salad they have is amazing I also love the won ton salad. Great french onion & cream of mushroom soup as well. The brownies are extra yummy. The only thing I did not like was the pasta alfredo it tasted weird other than that we love coming here !

Family favorite! They have a great selection for salads and a variety of other food. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is very nice.

Is was ok for a budget bar and none meat eaters but it's cool if you and girlfriend want to grab a bit before a movie or shopping

I'm not going back. The service was fine, but I didn't realize how bad/tasteless the food was before. Everything is just "meh" at best. It's weird when a salad from fast food joints tastes better than at a restaurant that specializes in it.

I've always loved this place. They're one of the most allergy-FRIENDLY restaurants, that I've had the pleasure of visiting. Even was comfortable enough to celebrate a birthday here!......I received an email, on the 8th, that they won't be reopening, due to the COVID-19 pandemic & I'm extremely saddened by this. Hopefully something turns around & works out for the better, for their chain & employees. ......But wanted to let your company know you will be missed & we very must appreciate all of your employee's efforts.

What a great salad bar & wonderful soups & Multigrain bread. Love this place! I'd like to see some whole grain or gluten free pasta though....and some avocados in the salad bar

It's been 12 years, but it was exactly as I remember. Best Salad Bar Buffet restaurant company in the country in my opinion. Hate that Sweet Tomatoes isn't in San Antonio.

Prices are reasonable, but do look out for coupons which are almost always readily available. They do have lots of fresh ingredients for a great salad and good choices of hearty soups. Today the soups are a bit too salty for my taste. Service is always excellent.

We love sweet tomatoes and this place is Even better than other places I have been . Such a shame Dallas doesn’t have this chain anymore . Houston folks enjoy the good food and don’t lose this chain .

My family and I have eaten at this location for several years. It’s always clean with fresh food. It was sad to see that they recently stopped serving peas on the buffet because my little boy he really likes them and little ones are picky

I have been to many Sweet Tomatoes restaurants several times in the past, but for this location, this was second time. Quality and variety of items is typical to any other Sweet Tomatoes. I thought this location is a little cleaner and better organized. In general Sweet Tomatoes is our family's favorite restaurant for the value and variety. I liked the experience at this location, and would definitely return when the next opportunity comes.

Good salad bar and soups. Don't skip the champignon soup with fresh bread of the house. Find out how to get the discount coupons on line it's very convenient and a good deal.

Really pleasantly surprised for a buffet. All the food was good. Lots of options for salads. Obviously managed well as everything was freshly rotated. I liked that they offer very nice hot teas as well. Good selection for vegans as well.

The salad is fresh and the soups are tasty. The soup is missing actual substance however. Its more soup than solids. The cornbread is good.

I love taking my family here, but we are so disappointed that you took the peas and corn off of your salad bar. Please bring them back! And while I appreciate that you offer one gluten free muffin choice, more gluten free bakery options would be wonderful as well.

This visit really caught us off guard. Ranch had a sweet element to it and wasn't really the typical ranch. Even my son complained about the taste of macaroni and cheese, and my wife had a baked potato that wasnt cooked all the way and when she removed the potato from its foil her plate had a good amount of dirt. Just an off visit, but definitely hitting Stafford location up next time

Loved this place before the refurb; it's even nicer now. GREAT selection of food, fresh food; vegetarian and gluten-friendly options, and lots of space to sit. They've started adding nutritional info to the labels which is great; would love to see them include sugar content. Friendly service; recommended.

The salad bar was well stocked and fresh. The layout is terrible. There are multiple areas of food and there is not a natural flow of traffic so it's pretty stressful if it's crowded. We didn't have trouble finding a spot even in a super busy Sunday. Pro tip: if you think you may want a baked potato grab one when you see them because they go quick. They also take forever restocking them.

Make your own salad right when you come in.... just about every topping known to man. Then soups, baked potatoes, awesome muffins, and some pasta and pizza pieces. Soft serve ice cream with chocolate and caramel coating if you want. It can get crowded at lunch and parking is horrible.... so time your trip wisely.

First time going and I loved it. Lots of choices, better than what I was expecting. Typical buffet price but you have a wider selection of drinks. Definitely will be going here more often.
